David Caruso - Mexicali Police Launch Manhunt For Caruso Stalker

Mexicali police remain on high alert today for Heidemarie Schnitzer, the fugitive Austrian charged with stalking and threatening to murder CSI Miami's David Caruso. Acting on tips that Schnitzer remains at large on Mexico's Baja avoiding execution of an international warrant, Mexicali authorities believe Schnitzer is in the area and her capture is all but imminent. Coordinating efforts with the surrounding Baja cities of Tijuana, Rosarito, Ensenada and Tecate, Mexicali police have now joined in the manhunt to bring Heidemarie Schnitzer to justice.

Aiding in this massive effort is The Honorable Rodolfo Valdez Gutierrez, Mayor of Mexicali. We would like to thank Mayor Gutierrez for providing the manpower necessary to track down Schnitzer and ultimately have her deported to Austria for trial on stalking and threatening to murder charges.

If anyone has pertinent information that could lead to Schnitzer's capture and arrest, please e-mail Mayor Gutierrez as follows: rvaldez@mexicali.gob.mx

Heidemarie Schnitzer remains a fugitive hiding out in Mexico's Baja region. Schnitzer is armed and considered to be extremely dangerous. Please do not attempt to apprehend this woman. Contact the U.S. Border Patrol at 1-800-232-5378 , the FBI at (310) 477-6565 or Austria's Bundeskriminalamt at +43-(0)1-531 26-0.

They have only just joined in the manhunt. No wonder she is still on the loose. They really need to try harder. Here's to hoping that the Mexicali police get their quarry. Do you think if we ask nicely that they will film it!

The wheels are in motion. Shouldn't be too long before she's captured kicking and screaming.
