UPDATE: On April 14, 2009, Innsbruck Judge Guenther Boehler convicted and sentenced Heidemarie Schnitzer for stalking and threatening to murder David Caruso. Schnitzer is currently serving time in an Austrian prison to be followed by incarceration in a mental institution.

Mention the name Margaret Mary Ray in the same sentence with Heidemarie Schnitzer, David Caruso's fugitive Austrian stalker, and Schnitzer's back goes way up. With fewer and fewer sites welcoming Schnitzer and her psychotic posts, she's been relegated to IMDb's unmoderated abyss. Much like she did on TVGuide.com's now defunct forums, Schnitzer manipulates the threads when normal people with normal lives sleep. Schnitzer thinks if she pushes posts containing the truth farther and farther from the top, they will somehow magically disappear.

Comparisons between David Letterman's stalker the late Margaret Mary Ray and Caruso's stalker have become widespread. Most agree that Schnitzer is the 21st century's version of Ray on steroids with Internet access. Although many joke about Schnitzer and her cyberspace exploits, like Ray, Schnitzer has become a poster child for mental illness and the lives it destroys.

The Stalker Chronicles was recently tipped off that Schnitzer had abandoned not one, but two children. Ray herself abandoned four to stalk Letterman. For several days now, Schnitzer has gone to extraordinary lengths to deny that she has two children which really should come as no surprise. When photos of her daughter Katharina Sophie surfaced last summer, Schnitzer denied Katharina was her child as well.

It is highly likely that Schnitzer suffers from the same brain disorder that plagued Margaret Mary Ray. Schizophrenia, which manifests as severe mood swings and incoherent behavior accompanied by visual and auditory hallucinations are classic symptoms exhibited through Schnitzer's Internet rampage to destroy David Caruso. Schnitzer fashions herself as Caruso's companion. Whenever photos are published of Caruso with another woman, Schnitzer goes into a tailspin posting hostile attacks. Oftentimes the attacks are so vicious and incoherent one wonders if Schnitzer is using drugs or perhaps drinking.

Schnitzer's impulsiveness and total lack of sense of right and wrong are further signs of a mental imbalance. Hiding behind hundreds of pseudonyms for no other reason but to wreak vengeance and give the appearance of support where none exists confirms that Schnitzer's condition is deteriorating.

If, like Margaret Mary Ray, Schnitzer's family has tried to prevail upon her to get help, she has resisted those efforts. Ray spent time in jail and psychiatric hospitals but reportedly would stop using her meds when she started feeling better. If Schnitzer has ever been on any type of medication, it has failed to control her obsession with David Caruso and the accompanying delusions. David Caruso - Stalker Does Not Remain Silent About Existence of Her Second Child

Posting denials is something we have grown accustomed to as standard operating procedure for David Caruso's fugitive Austrian stalker whenever she's confronted with the truth. Once again, Schnitzer's disclaimers have kicked into high gear. Over the last couple of days, we at The Stalker Chronicles have blogged about the possibility that Schnitzer has abandoned two children after being tipped off by an Austrian blogger. Schnitzer has of course denied all of this merely increasing the likelihood that it is true. Had she remained silent on the topic, we might have questioned our source. She did not.

We are therefore asking our readership to provide additional details on this young man if any are available. Does anyone know this child's name? Is he related to Katharina Sophie Putzer as a full-blood brother or is he her half-brother?

As we have indicated previously, the physical appearance of this young man bears a striking resemblance to not only Heidemarie Schnitzer, but to the father of Schnitzer's daughter Katharina Sophie, Christian Putzer. David Caruso - Stalker Attacks Young Boy

We knew it was coming. To have expected anything different would have been remiss on our part. After publishing the photo of a young boy strongly suspected of being Heidemarie Schnitzer's child and brother of Schnitzer's daughter Katharina Sophie, Schnitzer's gloves have come off and she has moved into damage control.

For those who have followed the psychotic antics of David Caruso's fugitive Austrian stalker, it is well-known that whenever Dojo and I get remotely close to the truth about Heidemarie Schnitzer, her claws come out and her vindictiveness shifts into high gear. Plagiarizing Dojo's articles, adding bizarre spins, and spitting it back out on David Caruso has become so common place that it's amazing we even notice. Her outrageous behavior only serves to confirm what we already surmise to be true.

Just as we are learning from an Austrian blogger that Schnitzer abandoned not one, but two children, Schnitzer has seized the opportunity to attack the parentage of the young boy she was photographed with in much happier times. The Stalker Chronicles won't even link to Schnitzer's slander of this boy. If this child is indeed hers, what would motivate Schnitzer to bastardize her own son? The young man suspected of being Schnitzer's other child is probably in high school and like most teenagers, he undoubtedly spends a great deal of time on the Internet. Soon, if he hasn't already, this young man will read about Schnitzer's criminal stalking, murder threats and the Internet hate war she wages against David Caruso. Unfortunately, he will also read Schnitzer's verbal attacks on himself.

David Caruso - Stalker Fled Leaving Both Children Behind

Last August, an Austrian blog reported that David Caruso's fugitive Austrian stalker Heidemarie Schnitzer was the "Mutter von zwei Kindern." Translated this means "Mother of two children". Later in this same blog, the author stated when Schnitzer fled to avoid prosecution, she "ließ ihre beiden Kinder in Tirol." Translated this means when Schnitzer fled Austria "she left both children behind in Tirol." Last week here at The Stalker Chronicles, we took a closer look at this photo. And although it could be a pure coincidence, the young boy in this photo bears a striking resemblance to Christian Putzer, the father of Katharina Sophie, Heidemarie's daughter. Are the children pictured above brother and sister?

It's unimaginable that Schnitzer would abandon even one child, much less two to hunt down David Caruso and follow through with her murder threats. If what we suspect is true and this young boy is Schnitzer's other child, who is caring for him and his sister while their mentally unbalanced Mother gallivants around Mexico's Baja peninsula trying to avoid capture by Mexican authorities? Sadly, Schnitzer's behavior is similar to that of the late Margaret Mary Ray, David Letterman's stalker. Ray too had children that she abandoned to pursue stalking David Letterman.

Moreover, how terribly pathetic for Schnitzer's two children who are now old enough to use a computer and access the Internet. They have more than likely googled Schnitzer's name and if they haven't, surely their friends have. How dejected these children must have felt when they learned their own Mother had vanished from their lives after criminally stalking and threatening to end the lives of three people. Schnitzer clearly had no concerns for the well-being of her children when she chose this path. With a diagnosis of "severe personality disorder" nothing Schnitzer does anymore has any element of surprise.
