Last week, The Stalker Chronicles observed that Gabriele Huber's time on the Internet had become noticeably truncated. In subsequent days Huber's hits to this site, as reflected by our traffic log, indicated that she was taking a peek at this blog hundreds of times a day from an Austrian i.p. address, one previously used prior to her flight to avoid prosecution. We only suggested, never confirmed, that perhaps Gabriele had indeed returned to her homeland of Austria. A couple of other bloggers whose sites are also peeked at on a regular basis by Gabriele privately emailed telling me not to be so hasty in my conclusions. We compared notes and sure enough Gabriele had been hitting our blogs from a Mexican server several days prior. One hilarious commenter even suggested that Gabriele had found a safe haven in Cuba. No doubt, hoping to sneak into Miami via a rubber raft.
In the days following however, Gabriele's hits to this site came exclusively from Austria. And in the last 48 hours, Huber's seriously curtailed Internet activity has become noticeable enough to give pause. Over on her favorite haunt Vipix, there have been no comments from Gabriele (who posts as Vixen, etc.) in over 48 hours! Manpaper has not seen a comment from Gabriele in 5 days. Joe Gonga's CSI Miami Yahoo Site has not had a comment from Gabriele (who posts as Karen Spelling and DCHC) since May. Topix, where Gabriele's latest moniker was "GHZ" (hmmmmm, we all know what the "G" and the "H" stand for, but what does the "Z" represent)hasn't seen any activity from her in nearly 3 weeks. Ditto for CBS' CSI Miami Message Board.
That being said, in the last 24 hours, Huber has managed brief appearances on both Zimbio and IMDb, so she apparently is still able to access the Internet albeit for very short periods of time. Huber's Austrian i.p. address, used to access this site, is not coming through a proxy server so it's safe to say that either Huber or someone wanting to make it look like it's Huber is hitting this blog from Austria.
Where Huber and the Austria's Bundeskriminalamt are concerned, it's never a good idea to put the cart before the horse. Our fervent hopes and desires that this woman has been captured and locked up sparing David Caruso, his family, friends and the Internet public Huber's non-stop hate and slander could be dashed without notice. It's always nice to dream though, but don't uncork the champagne just yet. Stay tuned.
Gabriele Huber remains at large wanted for threatening to murder David Caruso. She is armed and considered to be extremely dangerous. Do not attempt to apprehend this woman. Contact your local FBI or Austria's Bundeskriminalamt at +43-(0)1-531 26-0.
