The Stalker Chronicles was launched with the singular mission to track the whereabouts of Heidemarie Schnitzer and see her brought to justice. After threatening to murder CSI Miami's David Caruso and two others, Schnitzer twice failed to appear in court and fled to Mexico. In February 2009, Schnitzer was captured in Tijuana. Two months later an Austrian Court convicted her for sending death threats to David Caruso. Schnitzer's release from a mental facility may not occur until 2011.

David Caruso - Stalker Threatens to Kill CSI Miami's David Caruso

The photo on the right shows the actual letter authored by Heidi Schnitzer which she mailed to David Caruso. In it, Schnitzer threatens to murder Caruso and Liza Marquez, but states that she will start by killing his daughter Greta Caruso first. This letter spurred the FBI into action in 2007 following Schnitzer's first flee from Austria.

With Schnitzer having fled Austria again in April 2008 and reportedly hiding out in Tijuana, Mexico, the U.S. Border Patrol has been placed on high alert. It is feared that Schnitzer will attempt to illegally enter the U.S. to carry out her threats against David Caruso and his family.
