David Caruso Stalker Arrives in Frankfurt, Germany

Thomas Hochwarter of The Austrian Times along with reports from several other Austrian papers has confirmed that Heidemarie Schnitzer, the woman charged with stalking and threatening to murder David Caruso, Greta Caruso and Liza Marquez has been flown from Mexico City to Frankfurt, Germany. Schnitzer was met by German police and handcuffed at the time of her arrival. It was one month ago today that Tijuana Police captured and arrested Schnitzer in a local hotel. Shortly thereafter, Schnitzer was transferred to Mexico City where Interpol coordinated her transfer to Europe pursuant to the October 2008 international warrant issued by Judge Guenther Boehler.

According to an updated report by Austrian crime blogger Marcus J. Oswald, Schnitzer was expelled from Mexico for "foreign legal transgressions" and was re-arrested by the Germans. Schnitzer now awaits extradition to Austria which should take place in the next several days. Upon her return to Austria, Schnitzer will undergo another extensive psychiatric evaluation which will be presented to the Court prior to trial.

For the Caruso family, this latest development in the stalker's journey to justice couldn't be more welcome. Schnitzer no longer sits on the the North American continent posing a threat to David Caruso and his loved ones. Very soon, Schnitzer will have to appear before Judge Guenther Boehler to answer stalking and death threat charges.

Good riddance to bad rubbish!

She desperately needs professional intervention and hopefully she will receive it while in prison. I still fear that she may be one of those people who does not respond to rehabilitation. In that case, she'll be back on-line within moments of her release.

And Lindy, great photo. I laughed until I almost cried.

Glad you enjoyed it!

I do wonder if Schnitzer was allowed to take any personal effects with her. Hopefully authorities confiscated the laptop. But if they agreed to let her retain this new mode of transportation, she'll be easily spotted riding around on a tricycle commode should she manage another escape.

I sure hope they did get that laptop. It would show very clearly how obsessed the woman is!

That laptop would make the prosecutor's case a slam dunk!
