David Caruso - World News Services Report About Crazed Stalker

Following Tuesday's announcement that Judge Guenther Boehler had issued an international warrant for Heidemarie Schnitzer's arrest, news services around the world picked up on this story. This was extremely welcome news for all of us who have worked so hard behind the scenes to keep this story at the forefront. The more publicity this story gets, the increased likelihood Schnitzer will be located and captured sooner than later. Most of the sites simply posted the story verbatim as it appeared on the wires. However, there was some creativity.

Our favorite headline came from Britain's Mirror:
Police Hunt For Crazed David Caruso Fan
http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/top-stories/2008/10/30/police-hunt-for-crazed-david-caruso-fan-115875-20852617/

Our favorite Schnitzer faux paus appears in the following comment she posted as "Cole" on a Spanish blog. Schnitzer clearly has absolutely no command for the Spanish language as evidenced by this butchering;
Cole October 29th, 2008 at 23:56 pm

"¿Por quĂ© nadie quiere a un tallo feo idiota como David Caruso? Ni idea!"

Translation: " Why would anyone want an ugly cabbage stalk idiot like David Caruso? Neither idea." http://www.blogswow.com/2008/10/29/david-caruso-acosado/

We realize that we will be accused of using translation software however we do not find that necessary. Here at The Stalker Chronicles we read and speak Spanish quite well and were therefore able to recognize Schnitzer's error immediately. We are also aware that Schnitzer desperately wants to see all of this go away. Towards that effort, she has been attempting to dilute and manipulate the search results for this story on Google. Thus far, she hasn't been successful. If we missed any zingers in terms of headlines, please let us know.

Heidemarie Schnitzer remains a fugitive hiding out in Mexico's Baja region. Schnitzer is armed and considered to be extremely dangerous. Please do not attempt to apprehend this woman. Contact the U.S. Border Patrol at 1-800-232-5378 , the FBI at (310) 477-6565 or Austria's Bundeskriminalamt at +43-(0)1-531 26-0.
