David Caruso - Heidemarie Schnitzer The Con Artist

With Schnitzer finally in custody of Mexican Immigration, David Caruso, Greta Caruso and Liza Marquez can finally put some closure to this precarious chapter of their lives. Their immediate families surely must be breathing collective sighs of relief as the safety of their loved ones is no longer being compromised by a mentally unbalanced celebrity stalker.

What continues to strike The Stalker Chronicles as odd are the few Internet sites who claimed Schnitzer was innocent and even went so far as to call her a friend. One site has posted not one, but two pieces bemoaning the loss of their "fallen comrade." Several others including one high traffic site took The Stalker Chronicles to task when we attempted to do nothing more than warn them who Schnitzer really was.

We have to hand it to Schnitzer. Being a consummate con-artist, she was successful in promoting her subterfuge with a few gullible people. However, most intelligent people quickly saw through Schnitzer's charade that included multiple pseudonyms and four hate-David Caruso blogs. The Stalker Chronicles will not link to the duped sites as they have engaged in denigration of The Stalker Chronicles and our efforts and did nothing to promote the cause of justice.

These same individuals are now professing disbelief that a stalker was in their midst while at the same time claiming they had suspicions all along. Is there a club for con-artists?

David Caruso - Stalker Arrested at Tijuana Hotel

According to this Austrian publication Kleine Zeitung, Heidemarie Schnitzer was arrested after Mexican authorities tracked her to a Tijuana hotel. Many of you may remember how Schnitzer recently advocated Wi Fi theft and it is strongly believed that authorities traced her location based on the i.p. address she was using. The Stalker Chronicles is pleased to report that we provided numerous tips to authorities including the i.p. addresses she was using and we are extremely proud to have been part of the capture of this mentally unbalanced woman.

However, we want to temper all of our enthusiasm with a reality check. Schnitzer can and eventually will gain access to the Internet again. Even in prison, inmates are allowed limited use of computers. When Schnitzer manages to get back on-line, we anticipate she will post ludicrous excuses for not being on the Internet, i.e. my computer was being repaired, I was sick, etc. She's also going to claim as she always has that she's not the stalker. Some people simply do not respond to therapy and are unable to be rehabilitated. The Stalker Chronicle strongly fears that Schnitzer may be one of them.

Our mission when we undertook this blog was simple: we wanted to see
Heidemarie Schnitzer brought to justice for threatening to murder three human beings. The Stalker Chronicles will be closing down as soon as we receive confirmation Schnitzer is back on Austrian soil. When she arrives in Austria, that mission will have been accomplished. If she escapes again and/or is released on some type of probation, The Stalker Chronicles will not continue to track her.

Shortly, Interpol will take custody of Schnitzer and coordinate efforts to deport her. As soon as we know Schnitzer is back in Austria we will report it here.

David Caruso - Schnitzer's Arrest Photo From Tijuana

Heidemarie Schnitzer
Arrested in Tijuana

The Stalker Chronicles wishes to graciously thank "TJ" for sending us the above photo of David Caruso's fugitive Austrian stalker taken as she was arrested in Tijuana on Thursday night. Here's the link for the paper where this was published.

David Caruso - With Schnitzer Gone Happy Days Are Here Again

How nice to log-on to the Internet today and see absolutely no signs of Heidemarie Schnitzer's all consuming hatred of David Caruso, his children, the women he dates and his hit television show CSI: Miami. Her usual haunts are silent and appear to be back to normal. Two other blogs where Schnitzer managed to hoodwink the owners with her obtuse charade are baffled by her absence however. Schnitzer in her madness had those bloggers believing she was just another nice polite person posting benign comments. Will the fact that their dear beloved "Vixen" (pseudonym for Schnitzer) is MIA wake them up to who and what she really is?

Although the news of Schnitzer's arrest hit the wires mid-afternoon Friday in North America, most Europeans had just settled in for the evening. This morning the continent awoke learning of Schnitzer's fate. There is one major difference though between European and American media outlets. The European papers will not publish Schnitzer's name or photo due to strict privacy laws that protect her until time of conviction. Private bloggers however appear not to be under the same constraints.

Mexico's El Sol de Tijuana is reporting this morning that Schnitzer has been turned over to Immigration with Interpol scheduled to take custody of her later this weekend. Schnitzer will be flown back to Austria and jailed until time of trial. Now a known flight risk, bail will be out of the question. At the time of trial, Austrian prosecutors will attempt to prove that Schnitzer stalked, mailed a death threat to David Caruso, twice failed to appear for Court hearings and ultimately fled the jurisdiction to avoid prosecution.

For the time being, Schnitzer's Internet maelstrom has ceased and with any luck it will be permanent. Be forewarned though, many penal institutions have limited Internet access for inmates. The Internet could once again be subjected to this woman's mentally unbalanced diatribes albeit severely curtailed. But if Schnitzer receives the psychiatric care she so desperately needs, we can only hope we have seen the last of her.

David Caruso - El Mexicano Reports Stalker May Have Been Captured

Don't break open the champagne just yet, but El Mexicano is reporting that Heidemarie Schnitzer, who has stalked and threatened to murder David Caruso and his family members, was picked up last night at approximately 11:30 p.m. by Municipal Police in La Mesa, Mexico. The article is in Spanish but you can get a rough English translation from Google. There is also an audio accompaniment to it for those fluent in Spanish.

As soon as The Stalker Chronicles learns more details, we will update accordingly.

David Caruso - End Your Exile Heidemarie and Return To Your Children

The fact that David Caruso's fugitive Austrian stalker has chosen a life of crime and abandoned her own children to do so is so sad that it bears repeating whenever similar cases draw comparisons. Today it has been widely reported that Roman Polanski, the academy award winning film director, has sought to end his exile by filing a Motion to Dismiss the case against him with a Los Angeles Court. Presiding Judge Peter Espinoza denied Polanski's Motion on the grounds that Polanski has no standing to file it as long as he remains a fugitive. However, the Judge stated if Polanski would return by May 7, 2009, he would agree to re-hear it.

Polanski fled to France in 1978 after failing to appear for a Los Angeles court hearing after he plead guilty to having sex with a 13 year-old girl. Polanski's French citizenship makes it impossible for the U.S. to extradite him, however, if Polanski ever tries to enter the U.S. he will be arrested. For those who claim this is not related, bear in mind that Schnitzer has posted pornographic comments about David Caruso's two-year old son on an Internet site.

Polanski has waited over thirty years to set foot on U.S. soil. How long will Heidemarie Schnitzer wait before it dawns on her what she has given up to pursue a life of crime? Two children that we know of and a homeland she loves are now memories for Schnitzer. Before it's too late, all Schnitzer needs to do is make a phone call to her lawyer and let him know she's ready to plea bargain. But will she? Pride always goes before a fall.

Heidemarie Schnitzer remains at large on Mexico's Baja peninsula wanted on an International Warrant for threatening to murder CSI Miami's David Caruso and for fleeing Austria to avoid prosecution thereof. Schnitzer is armed and considered to be extremely dangerous. Please do not attempt to apprehend this woman. David Caruso - Stalking Under Reported According to NY Times

In today's Sunday New York Times, Elizabeth Olson reports that the first in-depth federal study looking into the prevalence of stalking found that only one in three cases is ever reported to law enforcement. Many states are working to change existing laws making stalking a felony as opposed to a misdemeanor in hopes that more victims will come forward and report the crime. Austria's Minister of Justice Dr. Maria Berger, who has taken a personal interest in the David Caruso stalker case, is also a tireless advocate for stronger anti-stalking laws in her country.

The following are excerpts from "Though Many Are Stalked, Few Report It, Study Finds:"

"Whether they are obsessed fans fixating on celebrities...stalkers...typically invoke spurned love--real or imagined--to defend their actions...'Often stalkers want to make their victims fearful,' said Eugene A. Rugala, a former F.B.I. profiler who advises on workplace threats." David Caruso's stalker Heidemarie Schnitzer sent the above death threat letter to Caruso in care of CBS Studios for the purpose of inducing fear in her prey.

" 'Stalking is treated like domestic violence was 20 or 25 years ago,' said Mary Lou Leary, executive director of the National Center for Victims of Crime and a former federal prosecutor. 'Law enforcement is often suspicious or cynical, but is now beginning to deal with stalking as a crime.' " Perhaps this accounts for Austria and Mexico's failure to swiftly locate Schnitzer and bring some closure to this matter.

According to one stalking victim Cameron Wallace, whose perpetrator Ryan Clutter is now serving a 13 year sentence, "Mr. Clutter called 'at 1 a.m.and said I had 30 days to get out of the house or he would kill me and my husband,' she recalled. 'That's when I really started getting scared.'...Three years later [Clutter] broke into her house and then, by e-mail sent her a photograph he had taken of her sleeping. When the police searched his apartment, they found a kind of shrine to Ms. Wallace, with stolen articles of her clothing." According to witnesses who wish to remain anonymous, Schnitzer had a "shrine" to David Caruso when she worked for the University of Innsbruck's Medical Center. Her office walls were literally plastered with Caruso photos and memorabilia.

Although stalking is illegal in all 50 states, laws need to be made tougher for perpetrators. "...Incarceration..[is] not enough; stalkers also 'require individualized treatment... They almost never admit something is wrong with them.' " And in the case of Schnitzer, who will undoubtedly go down in history as the first stalker to use the Internet as a means to stalk, libel and destroy David Caruso, anyone who follows this sad story knows all too well how Schnitzer uses hundreds of pseudonyms to deny she's the stalker while at the same time posting her hatred of the actor on any site possible.

The Stalker Chronicles wishes to thank Dr. Maria Berger for her personal interest in seeing that Heidemarie Schnitzer is brought to justice. Dr. Berger along with Innsbruck's Judge Guenther Boehler have both been very responsive when provided with irrefutable evidence of Schnitzer's continuing crimes. As it stands, once Schnitzer is arrested she will be tried for stalking, mailing death threats, failure to appear for two court hearings and fleeing the jurisdiction to avoid prosecution thereof. If convicted, the stalking charges alone carry a three year sentence. Schnitzer will also be looking at additional time for the other offenses as well. Had Schnitzer stayed in Austria and faced the music two years ago, she would have received the help she so desperately needs and probably would have been a free woman today united with her abandoned children. As it stands, she's an international fugitive hiding out in Mexico attempting to avoid capture.

David Caruso - Stalker's Personality Disorder Similar to Josef Fritzl's

To date, little is known about Heidemarie Schnitzer's childhood and what events may have contributed to her psychotic adult behavior. Was Schnitzer abused as a child or perhaps abandoned? Or is Schnitzer's condition hereditary much like that of the late Margaret Mary Ray, David Letterman's stalker? For those familiar with Casey Anthony, the Florida mother accused of murdering her daughter, many psychiatric experts have stated that Anthony lacks a conscience rendering her incapable of love for anyone other than herself. Schnitzer too appears to be afflicted with this same mental incapacity. Was she born to stalk?

With Josef Fritzl scheduled to be tried next month for his heinous crimes, a closer look at his psychiatric examination reveals striking similarities to Dr. Karin Treichl's evaluation of Schnitzer. Dr. Adelheid Kastner of the Wagner-Jauregg psychiatric clinic in Linz, Austria prepared a 130 page report detailing her extensive examination of Fritzl. Kastner concluded the following:

“He was not only incredibly able to lead a double life but also managed to maintain a triple life without any problems,” Dr Kastner wrote, indicating that Fritzl played down the gravity of his crimes in his mind.
“Mr Fritzl resembles a volcano; under the surface that appears almost banal there is an evil streak. He is torn apart by his desires that he cannot master,” Dr Kastner wrote.
The report declared Fritzl clinically sane and fit for trial, but also diagnosed a “severe combined personality disorder and a sexual disorder”.
“It is to be expected that Mr Fritzl would perpetrate deeds with severe consequences also in the future,” Dr Kastner concluded.
http://shadmia.com/2008/10/23/joseph-fritzl-says-i-was-born-to-rape/

According to Kastner, Fritzl's dysfunctional childhood contributed to his heinous adult behavior and criminal proclivities. Compare Kastner's diagnosis of Fritzl to Dr. Treichl's diagnosis of Schnitzer who concluded that Schnitzer suffered from a "severe personality disorder" with the potential for turning dangerous. Mexico, where Schnitzer remains on the run, has a human volcano ready to erupt without notice residing illegally in their midst. Daily on multiple Internet sites, Schnitzer maintains a "double life" and downplays her crimes against Caruso and his family. If provoked by impending capture, Schnitzer's repressed "evil streak" poses a serious threat to Mexico's citizenry. Officials close to this story continue to express grave concerns for David Caruso and his family members should Schnitzer manage to breach the US/Mexico border and travel to Los Angeles.

David Caruso - Stalker Admits Being On Mexico's Baja

Last week the Internet was treated to Heidemarie Schnitzer's treatise, Tamales for Dummies. Earlier this week, Schnitzer's famous unedited tongue slip identified Vixen as Heidemarie Schnitzer. Not that there was ever any doubt.

Yesterday, David Caruso's fugitive Austrian stalker surprised us yet again when she revealed being on Mexico's Baja. Weighing in on Iran's hanging practice (this is one lonely woman!), Schnitzer left the following comment on her new partner in crime's blog. In doing so, Schnitzer left absolutely no question where she remains at large dodging the authorities:

Vixen [pseudonym for Heidemarie Schnitzer] said...

.....Recently, while visiting our friend in Baja California , we drove by a car with 4 dead bodies inside. Despite heavy police presence people didn't bother to stop and stare. Just minded their own business without a second glance. More dead bodies? What else is new?...

February 12, 2009 12:20 PM

Sorry, The Stalker Chronicles will not link the revolting site where this was posted. Suffice it to say that Schnitzer's recent admissions, along with evidence already furnished to authorities, should make her capture a fairly routine exercise for Mexico. With Interpol's recent involvement, an arrest is looming.

David Caruso - Stalker's Tongue Slip

Usually when it's pointed out that David Caruso's fugitive Austrian stalker has slipped up grammatically, she immediately beats a path back to the forum and edits her offending comment even when the error has already been published for the Internet to see. This time however, Schnitzer wasn't so lucky and she was not able to correct the following slip of tongue she left on the KSleeze site:

Vixen [pseudonym for Heidemarie Schnitzer] said...
...You know, I have a theory. I think resident nutcase sara just can't stop being a bitch, because if she wouldn't obsess over me and that Schnitzer-woman WHAT would she have left?...
February 7, 2009 9:58 AM

"Over me?" Who exactly is "me?" Whenever The Stalker Chronicles refers to Vixen we identify that name as a pseudonym for Heidemarie Schnitzer, Gabriele Huber or David Caruso's stalker. We do not direct our comments to Vixen without first identifying her as Heidemarie Schnitzer. The same holds true for all of her other pseudonyms especially Schnitzer's "Dixiebabe" on IMDb.

So the question begs, who is Schnitzer referring to when she says "obsess over me?" The answer is abundantly clear. Schnitzer slipped up, accidentally referred to herself and failed to correct it before she hit submit. At that point, it was too late. Schnitzer had absolutely no recourse to edit the comment and it stands as published. Oooops!

Guess she figured no one would notice as well. Since Schnitzer left this comment during the morning hours, she probably hadn't had enough coffee and tamales to think straight, much less promote her interminable subterfuge. We await the denials of outrage. Ouch!

David Caruso - Heidemarie Schnitzer Remains At Large in Governor Millan's Backyard

Dear Governor Osuna Millan:

After learning that Heidemarie Schnitzer, David Caruso's fugitive Austrian stalker had fled Austria for Mexico's Baja peninsula, Innsbruck's Judge Guenther Boehler issued an international warrant on October 28, 2008 for her arrest. For nearly eight months, Schnitzer has remained at large in your own backyard.

Schnitzer is armed and considered to be extremely dangerous. She poses a very real threat to the citizens of Mexico. She has been diagnosed suffering from "severe personality disorder" with the potential for turning deadly at any moment. Governor Millan, the time to act is now! Schnitzer needs to be captured and deported to Austria before she follows through with her threats to murder three people. Or before she attacks Mexican citizens. Schnitzer's hatred for people of Latin American descent is well documented.

Private e-mails have been sent to you and all of the Mayors of the Baja region with location information on Schnitzer. This Austrian fugitive has been using the Internet to joke about Mexican law enforcement's efforts to capture her. In fact, she thinks the whole case against her is somehow irrelevant and it's perfectly acceptable to threaten peoples' lives. The sad truth is Schnitzer will stop at nothing to follow through with her death threats. Governor Millan, let Mexico be Schnitzer's final stop on her journey to an Austrian prison.

Heidemarie Schnitzer remains a fugitive hiding out in Mexico's Baja region. Schnitzer is armed and considered to be extremely dangerous. Please do not attempt to apprehend this woman. David Caruso - Fugitive Stalker Critiques Baja Tamales

Update: Shortly after publishing this post, Heidemarie Schnitzer was captured and arrested by Tijuana police on February 19, 2009. Within weeks she was deported to Austria and stood trial on April 14, 2009. After pronouncing her guilty of stalking and sending death threats to David Caruso, Judge Guenther Boehler sentenced Schnitzer to prison for 7 months. Following her incarceration, she was transferred to a mental facility for an undisclosed period of time.

In a brazen act, David Caruso's fugitive Austrian stalker has authored a guest post for another site recommending tamales. Yes indeed you heard it right. Heidemarie Schnitzer, a fugitive who remains at large on Mexico's Baja
peninsula, has now become the region's latest food critic. Schnitzer has ghost written the piece using her notorious pseudonym "Vixen." Could her venture into the culinary arts be Schnitzer's latest effort to disguise the fact she's stalked and threatened to murder three people?

It's always been the policy of The Stalker Chronicles not to link to Schnitzer's blogs and/or sites which support her criminal activities and we will not do so now. Suffice it to say that Mexico's latest food critic still cannot fashion a sentence with proper subject/verb agreement. Florence Fabricant she is not. But Schnitzer can tell you about the history of tamales along with the various fillings available for the discerning gourmet palate. At the end of her post, Vixen/Heidemarie Schnitzer tagged it Baja, California. When she's finally locked up in Austria, looks like Schnitzer definitely has a future as a gourmand. Too bad the only thing she'll be critiquing will be prison grub.

Seriously, what more do the authorities need to pick this woman up? She's not only admitted being in Mexico's Baja area but now she's recommending the food. Note to Mexico's AFI: check the local tamale stands for a 40+ woman with a heavy German accent. She fancies the spicy beef tamales and she'll have a laptop in tow.

David Caruso - Schnitzer Copycat Stalker

In 2004, a woman charged with stalking and sending death threats to Michael Douglas and his wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones, stood trial in a Los Angeles, California courtroom. The defendant, thirty two year-old Dawnette Knight, had met Michael Douglas at a party in South Beach in 2002. Believing that this chance meeting constituted a relationship with Douglas, Knight began sending letters to Catherine Zeta-Jones detailing grisly threats on how she planned to get rid of Jones. One letter set out how Knight would cut Zeta-Jones into little pieces and feed her to dogs. Knight, who had plans to become a child psychologist, also knew the name of the Douglas' nanny and the layout of their home.

After days of testimony in which both Douglas and Zeta-Jones took the stand, a jury found Knight guilty and she was sentenced to three years in prison. Catherine Zeta-Jones nearly suffered a nervous breakdown and during the trial, Knight attempted suicide.

The eerie similarities of Knight's crimes compared to those of David Caruso's fugitive Austrian stalker, Heidemarie Schnitzer are uncanny. Schnitzer, who is known for plagiarizing the words and ideas of others, probably wasn't able to come up with an original stalking scam as well. In fact, it appears that Schnitzer simply stole a page out of Dawnette Knight's stalker playbook.

David Caruso - One Year As The Stalker's Stalker

Today marks the one year anniversary of The Stalker Chronicles. For the better part of the last 365 days, we have made every effort humanly possible to expose Heidemarie Schnitzer as David Caruso's mentally unbalanced fugitive stalker. We have had many successes as evidenced by the fewer and fewer websites that welcome Schnitzer. When we embarked upon this mission to track Caruso's stalker and help keep law enforcement agencies informed of her whereabouts, we didn't realize how heavy the burden we had placed upon ourselves.

Over the past year, we have been supported in our efforts by a lifeblood of friends known and unknown who share our belief that Heidemarie Schnitzer's actions are criminal and should be dealt with accordingly. Our gratitude to each and every one of you is immeasurable.

Although David Caruso is unfortunately the target of Heidemarie Schnitzer's menace and hatred, our focus remains on justice. Like any person in the public eye, Caruso has his detractors and we accept it. That fact alone doesn't make it right for another human being to criminally stalk and threaten to murder him and his family, fail to appear for Court hearings and flee the jurisdiction of Austria to avoid prosecution thereof.

The past year has also brought our detractors; those who claim we have no hard evidence that Heidemarie Schnitzer is Caruso's actual stalker. To those, we offer no apologies. It was our hard evidence of Schnitzer's presence on Mexico's Baja that led to the modification of the warrant for Schnitzer's arrest by Innsbruck Judge Guenther Boehler. An intensely pleasurable victory for which we proudly take credit.

The past year also brought us a new name coined by our friend Aaron Barnhart of TVBarn.com. "The Stalker's Stalker" has now become an identity we proudly wear as a badge of honor. It requires nothing less than legal stalking to track Schnitzer. Although Schnitzer remains at large hiding in Mexico, she changes locations with regularity always keeping us on our toes.

Regrettably, we are still plagued with a nagging fear that Schnitzer may succeed in making good on her murder threats before she is captured. Nonetheless, the Stalker's Stalker remains determined to see our mission through to the bitter end. We never close.

David Caruso - Birth of Caruso's Would-Be Assassin

A year ago tomorrow, The Stalker Chronicles went live on-line to track down and keep the Internet aware of the presence of David Caruso's fugitive Austrian stalker, Heidemarie Schnitzer. The first blogger to tackle this difficult task was a woman named "Rachel" whose DCWackoHunter Blog was the trailblazer. Rachel's blog was well-researched and outed Schnitzer for who and what she really is: a schizophrenic celebrity stalker diagnosed suffering from severe personality disorder with the potential to turn deadly. Unfortunately for all of us with a vested interest in seeing justice done, Rachel has moved onto other pursuits and her blog has not been updated in over a year.

If you have never had an opportunity to read Rachel's excellent account of how Heidemarie Schnitzer went from love-obsessed Caruso fan to hate-obsessed Caruso stalker and would-be Caruso assassin hiding behind hundreds of pseudonyms follow this link. We miss you Rachel, but we know intimately how much time and effort tracking Schnitzer involves. Once Schnitzer is captured and behind bars, our blog too will close down.

David Caruso - Heidemarie Schnitzer Poster Child For Mental Illness

UPDATE: On April 14, 2009, Innsbruck Judge Guenther Boehler convicted and sentenced Heidemarie Schnitzer for stalking and threatening to murder David Caruso. Schnitzer is currently serving time in an Austrian prison to be followed by incarceration in a mental institution.

Mention the name Margaret Mary Ray in the same sentence with Heidemarie Schnitzer, David Caruso's fugitive Austrian stalker, and Schnitzer's back goes way up. With fewer and fewer sites welcoming Schnitzer and her psychotic posts, she's been relegated to IMDb's unmoderated abyss. Much like she did on TVGuide.com's now defunct forums, Schnitzer manipulates the threads when normal people with normal lives sleep. Schnitzer thinks if she pushes posts containing the truth farther and farther from the top, they will somehow magically disappear.

Comparisons between David Letterman's stalker the late Margaret Mary Ray and Caruso's stalker have become widespread. Most agree that Schnitzer is the 21st century's version of Ray on steroids with Internet access. Although many joke about Schnitzer and her cyberspace exploits, like Ray, Schnitzer has become a poster child for mental illness and the lives it destroys.

The Stalker Chronicles was recently tipped off that Schnitzer had abandoned not one, but two children. Ray herself abandoned four to stalk Letterman. For several days now, Schnitzer has gone to extraordinary lengths to deny that she has two children which really should come as no surprise. When photos of her daughter Katharina Sophie surfaced last summer, Schnitzer denied Katharina was her child as well.

It is highly likely that Schnitzer suffers from the same brain disorder that plagued Margaret Mary Ray. Schizophrenia, which manifests as severe mood swings and incoherent behavior accompanied by visual and auditory hallucinations are classic symptoms exhibited through Schnitzer's Internet rampage to destroy David Caruso. Schnitzer fashions herself as Caruso's companion. Whenever photos are published of Caruso with another woman, Schnitzer goes into a tailspin posting hostile attacks. Oftentimes the attacks are so vicious and incoherent one wonders if Schnitzer is using drugs or perhaps drinking.

Schnitzer's impulsiveness and total lack of sense of right and wrong are further signs of a mental imbalance. Hiding behind hundreds of pseudonyms for no other reason but to wreak vengeance and give the appearance of support where none exists confirms that Schnitzer's condition is deteriorating.

If, like Margaret Mary Ray, Schnitzer's family has tried to prevail upon her to get help, she has resisted those efforts. Ray spent time in jail and psychiatric hospitals but reportedly would stop using her meds when she started feeling better. If Schnitzer has ever been on any type of medication, it has failed to control her obsession with David Caruso and the accompanying delusions. Ray's crimes amounted to nothing more than trespassing and burglary. Schnitzer, on the other hand, has threatened the lives of three people. The sad story of Heidemarie Schnitzer will end soon. How remains to be seen.

David Caruso - Mexico Attorney General's Operation Clean Up May Help Nab Stalker

Since assuming office in 2006, Mexico's Attorney General Eduardo Medina-Mora Icaza has had his work cut out for him. Once in office, his mission called Operation Clean Up, had several focus points. First, Mora was faced with the unenviable task of identifying and outing notoriously corrupt anti-drug officials. One such high level arrest occurred last November when the head of Interpol-Mexico's National Central Bureau, Ricardo Gutierrez, was detained for alleged ties to the drug cartel. As the Chief of Interpol-Mexico, Gutierrez stands accused of divulging information to cartel members which he obtained from Interpol's database.

Attorney General Mora is not focusing Operation Clean Up solely on the corrupt police though. He's also planning to clean up Mexico's sullied reputation as a country that welcomes and harbors fugitives from justice. During Mora's brief tenure, 196 fugitives have been rounded up and extradited. Here at The Stalker Chronicles, we would like to assist Mexico's Attorney General by providing him with information concerning David Caruso's fugitive Austrian stalker in an effort to increase his success rate.

According to Senor Mora,
"there is no greater affront to society than an unpunished crime." In the case of Heidemarie Schnitzer make that "crimes."

David Caruso - IMDb's Dixiebabe IS Heidemarie Schnitzer

David Caruso's fugitive Austrian stalker, Heidemarie Schnitzer, continues her Internet stalking rampage albeit on fewer and fewer sites. Schnitzer's impact on Caruso boards and blogs is being felt less and less as people who frequent these sites quickly size up her dislike as an unhealthy hate obsession that stems from a mental imbalance.

Anyone familiar with the situation knows Schnitzer's drill. While hiding out on Mexico's Baja peninsula, Schnitzer scours the Internet 24/7 for any mention of the actor. If it's negative, she posts it verbatim on one of her multiple hate blogs. When the comment is positive, Schnitzer adds a negative spin. One astute person posted a comment on IMDb's David Caruso Board recently stating:

"Basically, when I don't like a film or actor I may (and this isn't always the case) go to their board and say ONCE that I don't like them/it and explain my reasons. But then I wouldn't keep going back to find all possible opportunities to put down that actor or film. Where as people that like an actor or film are much more likely to keep returning to the board to discuss with like-minded people about reasons why you like them. It des [sic] seem a bit of a waste of time, and you get all annoyed to keep slating someone. Why not just leave it be - you've made your point, let other people enjoy discussing GOOD things in peace. But yes Dixiebabe, you're right that forums are public and you are allowed to voice your own opinions about someone or somethings - whether you like it or not. I just guess it's human nature (normally) to keep wanting to talk about something you like, not about something you hate. David Caruso - Associated Press Article on International Warrant

Several people have e-mailed stating the link to the Associated Press article dated October 28, 2008 no longer works and has been archived by the AP. For those unfamiliar, this was the article that reported on Austrian Judge Boehler's issuance of an International Warrant for the arrest of Heidemarie Schnitzer. A worldwide manhunt ensued for Schnitzer following Judge Boehler's order. Many thanks to my wonderful contact at the Associated Press for recovering this article which will now be linked to this blog. Here's the article in its entirety:
Alleged Caruso Stalker Sought on International Warrant

VIENNA, Austria (AP) _ An Austrian woman accused of stalking "CSI: Miami" star David Caruso is being sought on an international arrest warrant, and officials said Tuesday she could be hiding in Mexico.
The woman allegedly sent more than 100 letters to the American actor, pursued him for an autograph and then sent death threats when he refused to give her one, according to prosecutors in the Austrian province of Tyrol.
The woman _ identified only as being in her early 40s _ was charged with stalking and threatening to kill Caruso, but failed to show for her trial in July 2007 and again in April, spokesman Thomas Lechner said.
Judge Guenther Boehler has issued an international warrant for her arrest, Lechner said.
The woman is believed to be abroad, possibly in Mexico, the spokesman said without elaborating.
Caruso plays Miami police Lt. Horatio Caine on the crime drama series on U.S. network CBS.
Austrian authorities said a 2007 letter allegedly written by the suspect and bearing a Miami postmark was discovered in Caruso's fan mail. It read, in part: "I will locate you and your ugly Latina tramp and kill you."
It is unclear if the Latina reference alluded to actress Alana De La Garza, who played Caruso's wife on the TV show until her character was killed.
A court-appointed psychiatrist testified that the suspect has a "profound personality disorder." If convicted, she faces up to three years in prison.

David Caruso - Schnitzer's Abandoned Daughter Spends Holidays Without Mother

While Heidemarie Schnitzer, David Caruso's fugitive Austrian stalker, spends the holidays hiding out in Mexico's Baja peninsula, her daughter Katharina Sophie Putzer will not be seeing her mother for Christmas. Instead, Katharina will spend the holidays motherless after being abandoned eight months ago by a mentally unbalanced woman who would rather disparage and defame David Caruso than be a parent to this lovely child who is now probably a pre-teen.

Here at The Stalker Chronicles, we hope for this child's sake that her mother is captured soon and receives the psychiatric help she so desperately needs. Then and only then, will Katharina Sophie be able to reconnect with the woman she calls mother. Have a Merry Christmas Katharina with the family and relatives who love and care for you.
