With the season premiere of CSI: Miami days away, anonymous sources are reporting that security for David Caruso has been stepped up. Those close to the story remain concerned that Heidi Schnitzer, David Caruso's fugitive Austrian stalker, will attempt to storm the U.S./Mexico border and travel to CBS's Manhattan Beach studios. Schnitzer, who remains on the lam hiding out in the Tijuana/Rosarito/Ensenada area, has threatened to murder David Caruso, his daughter Greta Caruso and his former companion, Liza Marquez.

For the last several months, the U.S. Border patrol has been on heightened alert in an effort to bar Schnitzer from crossing into the U.S. Fears continue to mount that Schnitzer will take desperate measures to get into the United States and hunt down David Caruso. Local authorities in Tijuana, Rosarito and Ensenada are also on the look out knowing that Schnitzer is hiding out in their area and is the subject of a European Arrest Warrant.

David Caruso - Schnitzer Rejects Challenge To Exonerate Herself

Nearly a month ago The Stalker Chronicles posed a challenge to Heidi Schnitzer, David Caruso's fugitive Austrian stalker. In effect, we asked her to put up or shut up concerning a rumor she attempted to float asserting she was not Caruso's stalker. Schnitzer instead accused us of being the Caruso stalker. In spite of its sheer absurdity, we decided to prove Schnitzer wrong. We asked Schnitzer to contact the FBI and the U.S. Border Patrol and provide them with her personal identity information.

What Schnitzer failed to realize when she originally made these preposterous allegations was the fact that we had earlier voluntarily provided all of our personal information to the FBI as well as the U.S. Border Patrol. To date we have never been arrested or even questioned about stalking and sending death threats to David Caruso. Nor is there an outstanding warrant for our immediate arrest.

More importantly and to the point, Schnitzer NEVER took the challenge to come forward to law enforcement with her personal information. Not that there was ever any doubt in our minds who we are, but Schnitzer's absolute refusal to accept this challenge proves once and for all what many of us have known for quite some time: Heidi Schnitzer is indeed Caruso's indicted Austrian stalker who remains on the lam hiding out in the Tijuana/Rosarito/Ensenada areas of Mexico.

In a desperate bid to divert attention from her own plight after threatening to kill David Caruso, Greta Caruso and Liza Marquez, Heidi Schnitzer has been touting the preposterous allegation that this blogger, not her, is "Heidi Schnitzer". In spite of the fact that the FBI and the US Border Patrol have information on me, I have never been arrested for stalking and threatening to murder David Caruso and two other people. Why, we ask, would either of these law enforcement agencies knowingly allow a dangerous celebrity stalker to roam free posing a threat to Caruso and his family? They wouldn't.
We wait with bated breath to hear from the individual who proclaims she's not the stalker, maintains multiple "Hate David Caruso" blogs and never misses an opportunity to spam David Caruso fan sites. Good luck to you Heidi because this is the best offer you will ever have to prove your innocence once and for all. Will Schnitzer accept the challenge and make it an open and shut case? We highly doubt it!

David Caruso - Heidemarie's Hate

Meet the face of hate. This woman, identified as Heidemarie Schnitzer aka Gabriele Huber, hates David Caruso. And she will go to the ends of the Internet posting slander and libel to let you know. Been to a David Caruso fan site lately? If you have, undoubtedly you noticed an ongoing war of words between Caruso fans and one of Schnitzer's many pseudonyms [see list in sidebar]. Blogs and news sites that mention the words "David Caruso" are spammed with Schnitzer's hate comments.

Heidemarie Schnitzer alone is responsible for trolling countless forums to foment comment wars all in the name of her "I Hate David Caruso Campaign." Why? Several years ago, Schnitzer traveled from Austria to Florida where she stalked Caruso to a Miami restaurant and propositioned him. When Caruso said "no thanks" [do you blame him?], this one-time love obsessed fan turned criminal stalker over night.

At the now famous moment of rejection, Schnitzer abandoned a young daughter, failed to show up for work and forfeited her reputation all in the name of hatred. Schnitzer mailed hundreds of letters to Caruso demanding an autograph. When these went unanswered, she went into a tailspin. Composing her now famous "death threat letter" shown above, Schnitzer vowed to seek vengeance for Caruso's alleged slight.

David Caruso, his daughter Greta and his former companion Liza Marquez all became targets of Heidemarie. When she first fled Austria in 2007, the FBI tracked her to Mexico and froze her credit cards. Penniless and stranded, Schnitzer's trip home was financed by two Austrian reporters. In exchange, Schnitzer granted them an exclusive interview about the David Caruso stalking matter.

Once back in Austria, she continued her hate war against David Caruso via her laptop. Fast forward to April 16, 2008--the rescheduled date for the original hearing. Again, Schnitzer fled Austria to avoid prosecution. A warrant was issued for her arrest.

Schnitzer remains on the lam holed up in Tijuana, Mexico. Reliable sources report that she is employed by the Adelita Bar where she also has limited Internet access. Day in and day out this unstable, deranged woman continues her hate war hoping David Caruso will take notice of her.

David Caruso - Heidi's Denials Confirm Her Guilt

It has been a very busy few days for Heidi Schnitzer aka Gabriele Huber, David Caruso's fugitive Austrian stalker. Ever since the above photos of Heidi were published confirming her identity for all the world to see, Heidi has gone into major damage control mode posting hundreds of denials. As we asked last week why would anyone, other than the accused, go to these extraordinary lengths to deny all of this unless she wasn't in fact the stalker? The truth is, no one would with the exception of Heidi Schnitzer, whose diagnosis of "profound personality disorder" contributes to her sense of invincibility. Heidi loves the notoriety and she has decided if she's going down for threatening to murder three people, she's dragging David Caruso's reputation through a path of destruction equal to none.

Remember Scott Peterson? For three months following his wife's disappearance, Peterson couldn't wait to get in front of t.v. cameras and deny his involvement. And when he did, everyone could see he was lying through his teeth. The frustration came waiting for law enforcement to finally nail Peterson after acquiring enough evidence for a certain conviction.

How long will fans of David Caruso have to wait for justice to be served in this case? After Heidi fled the jurisdiction of the Austrian courts in April, 2008, Austrian officials have not focused their limited manpower on a psychopathic stalker. Still reeling from the embarrassment surrounding their handling of the Josef Fritzl debacle, the Bundeskrminalamt is more concerned with re-establishing their reputation as a serious and effective law enforcement agency. Tracking down and incarcerating an Austrian for stalking and threatening to murder American citizens wouldn't be a means to that end.

The woman in the above photos is named Heidi and in Austria she is called "Gabriele Huber" by the news media. She is wanted for stalking and threatening to murder David Caruso, Greta Caruso, and Liza Marquez. There is an outstanding warrant for this woman's arrest in connection with her failure to appear for trial in April 2008.

After fleeing Austria to avoid prosecution on death threat charges, it is believed that Heidi is hiding out in the Tijuana, Mexico area. She may be working in Tijuana's famous Red Light District and it is highly likely she has changed her appearance.

Be on the look out for this very dangerous woman and contact local authorities immediately if you see her. She carries a laptop with her at all times.

David Caruso - Another Photo Surfaces of Stalker

We have yet another photo of Gabriele Huber aka Heidi, the fugitive Austrian woman wanted for stalking David Caruso. This photo, shot at a different angle than the previous photo when compared to the 2007 picture taken at the Vienna Airport last year, shows remarkable similarities. Note the prominence of the jawline in both photos. The necks on both women are also identical.

"Heidi" aka Gabriele Huber is thought to be hiding out in Mexico possibly in the Tijuana area. Since she has been out of Austria more than 90 days, it is also thought that she may have secured a work visa to become employed there.
