To date, little is known about Heidemarie Schnitzer's childhood and what events may have contributed to her psychotic adult behavior. Was Schnitzer abused as a child or perhaps abandoned? With Josef Fritzl scheduled to be tried next month for his heinous crimes, a closer look at his psychiatric examination reveals striking similarities to Dr. Karin Treichl's evaluation of Schnitzer. Dr. Adelheid Kastner of the Wagner-Jauregg psychiatric clinic in Linz, Austria prepared a 130 page report detailing her extensive examination of Fritzl. Kastner concluded the following:

“He was not only incredibly able to lead a double life but also managed to maintain a triple life without any problems,” Dr Kastner wrote, indicating that Fritzl played down the gravity of his crimes in his mind.
“Mr Fritzl resembles a volcano; under the surface that appears almost banal there is an evil streak. He is torn apart by his desires that he cannot master,” Dr Kastner wrote.
The report declared Fritzl clinically sane and fit for trial, but also diagnosed a “severe combined personality disorder and a sexual disorder”.
“It is to be expected that Mr Fritzl would perpetrate deeds with severe consequences also in the future,” Dr Kastner concluded.

According to Kastner, Fritzl's dysfunctional childhood contributed to his heinous adult behavior and criminal proclivities. Compare Kastner's diagnosis of Fritzl to Dr. Treichl's diagnosis of Schnitzer who concluded that Schnitzer suffered from a "severe personality disorder" with the potential for turning dangerous. Mexico, where Schnitzer remains on the run, has a human volcano ready to erupt without notice residing illegally in their midst. Daily on multiple Internet sites, Schnitzer maintains a "double life" and downplays her crimes against Caruso and his family. If provoked by impending capture, Schnitzer's repressed "evil streak" poses a serious threat to Mexico's citizenry. Officials close to this story continue to express grave concerns for David Caruso and his family members should Schnitzer manage to breach the US/Mexico border and travel to Los Angeles.

David Caruso - Interpol Aids Mexico's Manhunt For Fugitive Stalker

With the trial of Josef Fritzl a month away, yesterday we reported information from unconfirmed sources claiming David Caruso's fugitive Austrian stalker appears to be involved in a plot to bust Fritzl out of the slammer prior to his March 16, 2009 trial date. It is a well-known fact that Heidemarie Schnitzer sympathizes with the cellar monster as she has posted her support on numerous websites. It is also believed that Schnitzer has corresponded with Fritzl and desires to meet up with him in Mexico as soon as possible. Schnitzer, who has abandoned two children of her own, has stated that Fritzl's daughter deserved his abuse after abandoning all of her children. Sick? No doubt. But if one is to follow Schnitzer's logic, once she is convicted of her crimes, then she too should serve out her sentence in an Austrian cellar managed by Fritzl Enterprises.

The Stalker Chronicles has also learned that Mexican authorities are coordinating efforts with Interpol whose Secretary General Ronald Kenneth Nobel, pictured above, has played a fundamental role in transforming the agency's technology and revitalizing its databases and operational police support services. Their role in providing information and assistance to Mexico's elite AFI, who are actively pursuing the capture and arrest of this dangerous woman, will be invaluable.

Schnitzer is armed and poses a serious threat to not only herself but anyone who attempts to bring her to justice. She is being compared to both the late Margaret Mary Ray who stalked David Letterman and ultimately committed suicide and Dawnette Knight, the Michael Douglas/Catherine Zeta-Jones stalker who attempted suicide during her trial. David Caruso - ACE Forced to Close David Caruso Stalker Thread

BREAKING NEWS: The prolific blogger ACE has fallen victim to David Caruso's stalker, Heidi Schnitzer. In February, 2008, ACE posted an article titled "David Caruso Hate Site." http://minx.cc/?post=255222 Within hours, ACE was forced to remove the link to Schnitzer's hate site after she spammed his comments section using multiple pseudonyms. For six months, Schnitzer continued to spam this site posting comments containing nothing but gibberish. One theory has it that she used the site to gauge how her location would show up on other blogger's traffic stats. Schnitzer's last comment as "Peony Boy" was posted on August 11, 2008.

After being informed that Schnitzer had waged a six month long spam session at ACE's expense, he closed the thread today at 10:02 a.m. Don't feel bad ACE! You're not the first and you won't be the last. Here's ACE's final word on Schnitzer, David Caruso's deranged stalker:

Well, that was strange.

I shouldn't have posted that link in the first place. I just thought it was odd that Caruso had a hate site against him. Plus I'm sort of fascinated with the sunglasses off/sunglasses on thing.

If you read the comments to the thread, it looks like the hate-site writer came in and posted under a lot of aliases here (the bjMoP hash comes up again and again).

Sarkhanne says she's a stalker, which, you know, strikes me as a no-brainer; who else makes a single-person hate site? At least cast the net a little wider and make it the Catholics or the Jews or something. Have some ambition.

He predicted she would just keep posting here and she seems to have done so.

Anyway, I thought the link was worthwhile just for its oddness, but it seems to have opened up a big can of strange I don't need, so I shut comments down there and took down the link. I'm getting a Deb Frisch vibe which I should have seen coming.

Recent intelligence suggests that Schnitzer is planning to illegally enter the US as soon as possible to carry out her death threats against the actor and his family. Nearly 4 months have now gone by and Heidi Schnitzer, David Caruso's fugitive Austrian stalker remains on the run. It would appear that Austria's inept Bundeskriminalamt has put this matter on their proverbial back burner. After the FBI initially contacted them in 2007, Austria went through the motions to maintain free flowing diplomatic channels with the U.S. They filed charges, allowed Schnitzer to escape , sought the aid of the FBI to locate her, set a trial date and ultimately allowed her to escape AGAIN. On April 16, 2008, Heidi Schnitzer [aka Gabriele Huber] failed to appear for trial on charges she stalked and threatened to murder David Caruso, Greta Caruso and Liza Marquez. She fled for the second time.

David Caruso - Heidi's Daughter Cries, "Where's My Mommy?"

This is a photo of Katharina Sophie, the daughter of Heidi Schnitzer. Initially, I had decided not to publish it. Upon further reflection, I think it's critically important for the public and law enforcement authorities in Mexico, the U.S. and the E.U. to know the lengths Schnitzer will go to carry out her death threats against CSI Miami's David Caruso, his daughter Greta Caruso and Liza Marquez.

Katharina is motherless having been abandoned by Schnitzer in pursuit of a life of crime while working the streets of Tijuana, Mexico. For Heidi, who has been diagnosed with "profound personality disorder" it is much more important to focus her life on stalking and threatening to murder three innocent human beings than it is to stay in Austria and be a mother to your child.

All too frequently, Katharina's mother attacks David Caruso's parenting skills subjecting them to scrutiny she has never applied to herself. We read about Caruso using his kids for "photo-ops" and taking vacations without them; all slanderous statements contrived to destroy the actor's reputation. We have to wonder though when was the last time Heidi spent any time with Katharina Sophie, when did she hold the child, kiss her, tuck her into bed or take her out for ice cream.

With a warrant on her head that can be enforced in any member country of the E.U., Schnitzer had to make a tough choice. Stay in Austria and face the music for sending a death threat letter or flee to a non-member country and hide out until the statute of limitations runs for her crime. In the past, extradition was a political means used to return an offending party from one country to another.

In January 2004, a European Arrest Warrant replaced extradition. This new procedure, based on the principle of mutual recognition of judicial decisions, makes the return of an offending party to a member state a simple legal procedure as opposed to a political one. With the exception of Switzerland who does not participate, Schnitzer was forced to flee Europe or run the risk of being arrested in any E.U. country. Had Schnitzer stayed in Austria and paid for her crime, she surely would have been granted visitation privileges with her daughter. It is painfully apparent that Katharina Sophie's needs were never taken into consideration by Schnitzer.

But we thought it would be fun to stalk the stalker, by creating a profile of the different types out there.

Stalking is defined as an obsessive behaviour towards another, motivated by intense affection or extreme dislike [i.e. Heidemarie Schnitzer]

The behaviour of stalkers can range from the irrational and the violent, to the flattering and overly affectionate. Most, however, do not represent physical threats, but are still usually unpredictable.

Their behaviour is outside the norms of social acceptance [i.e.Heidemarie Schnitzer], which projects them as unpredictable to their targets. It is the lack of predictability of stalkers that usually sets off alarm bells of their victims, who often fear that they may instantly turn aggressively violent.

Four types of stalkers types are described below, though many stalkers have elements of more than one profile.

Erotomania

An erotomaniac [i.e. Heidemarie Schnitzer] has a persistent belief that they are loved by another, even if the other person does not know they exist.

Usually this bond is formed with someone of a higher social status or position of authority.

Their goal is to establish a relationship with their fantasy (we’re not sure how this is entirely distinct from groupies).

Borderline Erotomania

Yes, there are moderate forms of stalkers too.

This type of erotomania is characterized by the knowledge that the victim does not love them back. They actually may have even had some sort of contact, conversation, or otherwise meaningless contact with their victim.

Their behaviour, however, can be exactly the same, and just as creepy as the regular erotomaniac.

Former Intimate Stalkers

Yes, rejection hurts.

These stalkers usually have a real romantic history with the person. So basically this is the guy/girl who got dumped and never got over it and kept going.

They don’t fantasize about a relationship with their victim, but have an unhealthy emotional attachment. They can so far as to target the spouse or partner of their victim, who may be perceived as the obstacle to their reunification.

Extreme cases can even result in double murders, such as Andre Ducarme with Sherry and Maurice Paul.

The LAPD claims that 48% of their case load are these types of stalkers. Something about those California Girls probably.

Sociopathic Stalkers [i.e. Heidemarie Schnitzer]

This type of stalker is so messed up that they don’t even want a relationship with their victim. Instead, they’ve created an ideal partner in their head, and find someone they can place into this ideal.

The extreme sociopathic stalker can become a serial murder or rapist, such as Charles Ng.

So now that you know what to look for, identify these stalkers and keep them out of your life.

Did Austria’s behind the scenes maneuvering make it possible for David Caruso's stalker to disappear? By all accounts, Austria is undeniably complicit in Heidi Schnitzer’s second escape. Recall in April 2008 how news services worldwide were flooded with stories detailing Schnitzer's flee to avoid prosecution. Compare that to September 2007, when the story of Schnitzer’s first escape and ultimate capture by the FBI received virtually no press coverage. Why would Austria suppress the David Caruso stalker story in 2007 only to resurrect it as a major headline in April 2008? Compounding matters, when and if this story had made the papers, Austrians would have been forced to admit they sought the help of the FBI in locating Schnitzer. In April however, things changed. With their legal ducks all in a row and a defense lawyer all too willing to claim that his client would appear for trial, the stage was now set and the Austrians decided to take the media plunge.

For the second time in a year, Schnitzer was allowed to quietly slip out of the country using a passport that Austria should have revoked the first time she fled. Meanwhile, Austrian law enforcement prepared their spin of the situation for release to the press. True, the Austrians would claim, Schnitzer had escaped again. This time however, the Austrians could prove to the world and more importantly the U.S., that they had made a concerted effort to prosecute Schnitzer only to have her escape their jurisdiction. And they could lay the blame for her flight squarely on the shoulders of Gunther Gast, Schnitzer's attorney. The Austrians had successfully managed to shift responsibility for Schnitzer's disappearance from themselves freeing up their Bundeskriminalamt to pursue more pressing matters. For all intents and purposes, the David Caruso stalker case was closed.

Other factors played a role in their decision as well. In early 2008, Austrian law enforcement was dealt an embarrassing setback forcing them to take a long hard look in their own mirror. Seeing their collective involvement in the Josef Fritzl nightmare did not make for a pretty sight. With Schnitzer’s April court date looming and the country still reeling from bad press associated with the Fritzl tragedy, Austria’s Bundeskriminlamt had to make some tough decisions. Would they focus their efforts on the bigger picture reclaiming their reputation as a serious player in the EU’s judicial system or would they focus on tracking down a small time criminal accused of threatening U.S. citizens? With limited time and resources the answer was obvious; Austria could not afford another public relations debacle. It was therefore decided that their foremost concern had to be re-establishing their reputation as a serious law enforcement entity.

In short, Austria had much bigger fish to fry and the Caruso stalker matter did not figure into that equation. Austria's apathetic approach in handling this case amounted to nothing more than a green light for Schnitzer to walk right out of the country. And so she did. Now, Tijuana, Mexico is Heidi Schnitzer's new home for the time being. Unless Schnitzer runs afoul of the Mexicans resulting in her deportation, this case will remain closed. We wouldn't expect anything more from the "look away society" known as Austria.

Several arrests were made after Tijuana police raided the Adelita Bar responding to tips that the establishment was harboring David Caruso's fugitive Austrian stalker, Heidi Schnitzer. According to locals, Caruso's stalker was involved in a dispute over money when a fight ensued. Reports are sketchy but it appears that Schnitzer may have escaped arrest after exiting through a bathroom window in the nearby Coahuila Hotel. Link follows for video showing the police raid.

David Caruso - Heidi Rebuilds her Hitler Lair Daily

Like clockwork, Tijuana's Coahuila Hotel turns on Heidi's Internet access Monday thru Friday at 10:00 a.m. PDT. For the next six to seven hours David Caruso's fugitive Austrian stalker floods Zimbio, Digg, Vipix and sites that mention the words "David Caruso" with her Hitler hate posts to further her war against David Caruso.

It's hilarious to watch all of this unfold each day. If anyone has ever watched an ant colony attempt to rebuild its lair after it has been destroyed, then you have a good idea what Heidi does on a daily basis. First she heads to Zimbio to manipulate that site so all of her posts move to the top. Then it's off to Digg to post her rehashed stories with more rehashed stories with different titles. Unlike Zimibo, Heidi cannot go in and manipulate Digg though. She has to follow the rules over there. Hurriedly, Heidi next scurries over to Vipix and her Hitler blogs to post what she thinks is the last comment. Finally she responds to any numer of sites that have mentioned Caruso and show up in her RSS Feeds.

Since Heidi no longer wields dominance over the David Caruso fan sites and boards where she once ruled like a tyrannical dictator, she spends a great deal of the precious few hours she has on the Internet managing damage control. Heidi's sick compulsion to post the last word, even if the last word makes absolutely no sense or remotely addresses the topic at hand, is readily evident.

As soon as Heidi's Internet access is turned off by the Coahuila Hotel Madame, pro-Caruso bloggers are able to get down to business undisturbed. One by one, Heidi's articles fall out of the top position being pushed farther and farther out of the limelight. It must gall Heidi to know that each twilight as her street walking job begins, all of her Internet handiwork is being systematically destroyed.

David Caruso - Hitler's Homeland Can't Locate Heidi Schnitzer

Austria's Bundeskrinimilamt has failed David Caruso and the U.S. FBI. Looking over the facts of this case, maybe it was their plan all along simply to pay lip service in the name of maintaining good diplomatic relations with the United States. Austria's law enforcement officials appear to have washed their hands of the David Caruso stalking matter involving one of their own, Heidi Schnitzer. Today marks three months post trial since Schnitzer fled to avoid prosecution. Schnitzer has become yet another outlaw taking refuge in Tijuana, Mexico.

Sources close to this story now confirm that the FBI sought the assistance of the Austrian government after CBS Studios requested their help after receiving Schnitzer's now famous death threat letter. Austria went through the motions, filed charges, scheduled a hearing, then allowed Schnitzer to escape, asked the FBI to help track her down and ultimately set a trial date only to allow Schnitzer to escape again. The Austrians have refused to release a photo of the woman citing privacy laws enacted to protect the suspect. Their most blatant lapse though came in failing to force Schnitzer to surrender her passport following her capture by the FBI in September 2007. Looking back, this was all probably by design.

Recall too that this is the same government who for 24 years enabled the likes of Josef Fritzl to rape and hold his own daughter hostage in a cellar. The Austrians have held true to this "look the other way" mentality in the David Caruso matter as well. Turning a blind eye and wishing the the case would quietly go away, it appears that the Austrians got exactly what they wanted. Schnitzer is now out of their jurisdiction and some Austrian circles are probably breathing a sigh of relief.

Keeping this story alive has now become the job of Internet bloggers such as Dojo and myself. We are more than happy to accommodate the overworked Austrians so they can focus their attention on taking another 24 years to capture another madman or madwoman.

In the meantime, Schnitzer may be attempting to illegally enter the U.S. to carry out her death threat against David Caruso and his family.
